Well-being adds value. Is overall #well-being in short supply?

In 2022 why not make it a priority. Perhaps it will offer an advantage.

Hosted by Roxanne "Rox" Bartel, this podcast in 2022 focuses on interventions, stories and reflections on how we can all expand our well-being and inspire the same in others around us.

Rox walks with her clients, offering an "all you could need" in coaching services at a flat monthly rate with the mission of expanding our individual and collective well-being.

White men may feel they're being relegated to the back seat but they really are still in the driver's seat - but thankfully driver-less cars are coming.

The driver-less car may just be a metaphor for reaching equality but I'll take it!

When privilege is taken for granted, a call for equity can feel oppressive. SO, what could the leadership tip be here?

This week's Quick Tip: focus on something bigger than you are - a purpose, a goal, a mission and invite people to challenge your comfort zone and your privilege and then humbly seek to learn and grow.

Next week's SQT (Spring Quick Tip); the Hint: A bias I've carried with me my entire life. I'm learning how to harness it to help me.

What am I doing these days?

  1. While you're here, learn a bit about the new course I've developed called it takes Grit. I've contracted to deliver the basics of this course at a few professional conferences and professional associations in 2017 and 2018 and I plan to deliver the course in both classroom environments and on-line starting in late 2018.
  2. I continue to work with experienced leaders who are transitioning and aspiring leaders who are seeking to build their leadership acumen in conversation.
  3. ON YOUR MARK...™ is ImpactBank's signature system for leaders in transition.
  4. Culture4Breakfast - I'm working with leaders and your organization to understand you current culture, figure out what needs to change to be and do better AND learn to experiment constantly to continuously improve.

Whether it's about systems or leadership skills, my mission is to help senior leaders make their workplace more productive, inclusive and innovative.

My Passion Initiative: to eradicate violence against women and girls in Canada. I started Bohm-style conversations at Rotman  (the #RRTs) in late 2016 to engage men in conversations on gender.

The regular public #RRTs  concluded last month but it's not over. Learn more about what we've been doing HERE. AND join our mailing list  HERE and you will receive updates on our organizational RTs and details about future public engagements.

When Google fired James Damore, they may have missed a great opportunity to have a constructive and meaningful conversation. Maybe if we start listening to each other we will find more common ground and work through the conflicts that are tearing us apart.

In the meantime, if you know a workplace that is ready and courageous enough to invite their people to engage in meaningful conversations, introduce us.
