The power to:
As a leader you make a choice every day how to use both your personal power (a power each of us enjoys) and your positional power (which is the power you must wield with care).
How you use or abuse your power MATTERS. AND, when you are a leader, your power and the power you extend onto others MATTERS.
This week's Quick Tip: Power isn't a problem, necessarily. Leaders, formal or otherwise, must consider how their power is impacting others and the results on the organization and society.
Next week's SQT (Spring Quick Tip); the Hint: when precedent and tradition is the driving force, what could possibly go wrong!?

I'm building a coaching element into my "Resilience: it takes Grit"
course. I want to play with a few of my ideas on how to design a
coaching element. Could this be great for
you? I've decided to invite 5 clients
between now and the end of this calendar year who specifically want
to focus on developing greater resilience in their
lives. What's in it for you? Reduced
rates for my coaching time in exchange for your input/feedback on
how my tools and approaches are supporting your ability to be more
resilient.
What am I doing these days?
Whether it's about systems or leadership skills, my mission is to help senior leaders make their workplace more productive, inclusive and innovative.
