Codifying the past seems a bit backward to me. Are we smart enough and sufficiently wise enough to find ways to use this amazing advancement to build a better future? I hope so.
The book I reference in this episode is Cathy O'Neil's Weapons of Math Destruction.
This week's Quick Tips: Our greatest human quality is our ability to adapt and learn. We don't all enjoy the process or access to it equally but there is a lot of evidence to support the truth in it. Having said that, are we willing to codify the worst of us OR are we willing to #dothework AND be #selfaware enough to establish appropriate guard rails to protect the best in us all?
