Well-being adds value. Is overall #well-being in short supply?

In 2022 why not make it a priority. Perhaps it will offer an advantage.

Hosted by Roxanne "Rox" Bartel, this podcast in 2022 focuses on interventions, stories and reflections on how we can all expand our well-being and inspire the same in others around us.

Rox walks with her clients, offering an "all you could need" in coaching services at a flat monthly rate with the mission of expanding our individual and collective well-being.

Answering your questions, mostly with questions of your own. Coaches, for the most part use the socratic method to support learning. It makes it stick and it respects the fact that each of you are creative resource AND whole.

The questions I chose from your notes to me include:

  1. How do I most effectively integrate the executive team in my HR function; How do I build strong relationships quickly with my team members (they are currently anxious to change leader after 10 years); How do I bring my own color, while still making my boss look good.
  2. Three months ago, I was promoted to Sr director for my company's customer experience/contact centre department. I know I earned this promotion because of my ability to get results AND I also know I got those results sometimes by intimidating and creating fear in my team. I've been listening to you and others and doing a lot of reading and I really don't want to use this approach any more. I feel like I can use this opportunity to be different and so far my desire to change along with my fear of failure AND the pull of my habitual approach has me feeling stuck and even paralyzed. I suspect you may advise me to hire a Coach and I'm seeking funding to get a coach but what's one thing you can suggest I do each day to keep me moving in a good direction?
  3. I appreciate how you return to similar topics while approaching them differently each time. That suggests there isn't one way to respond to or solve problems. I suspect that ability comes out of your work as a coach with different people. What would you say is the reason someone like me would hire a Coach? I'm a senior manager on the leadership team for a Canadian division of a multi national company.
