What makes it so hard to accept full responsibility in the moment?
 
Perhaps it requires practice? So practice. Reflect on mistakes thoroughly enough so you're prepared the next time you recognize a mistake, so you are equipped to own it immediately. 
 
It turns out leaders build trust when they openly accept responsibility. 
 
Ask yourself: Is it more important for me to be right or be seen to be right and confident or to build trust by owning my mistakes?
