This week's episode on the leadership traits of inspiration and focus has been the most powerful of the series for my current professional growth so far.
The big insight I had was about how focus really is the source of deep and meaningful flow. My insight was supported by a new video out by Goleman and Siegel. While not the first time I have encountered this theme when listening or reading their work, I found a new insight when listening to it in light of my own work this week.
While it is my hope to serve and support all of you, in my experience my own learning and awareness deepens as a result of my efforts. You likely have had the same experience.
Last week I told you about the case study I did in 2013 to support my own development. It was in writing this week's blog post that I stumbled on another perspective for the traits I explore this week AND a whole new understanding of the impact of seeking balance.
If you didn't listen to Episode 28..PART I, I recommend you do that first. In Episode 28 we meet the 4 characters Marley, Pete, Alan and Cynthia and hear the true story and real characters who I used in my case study. More on the case study and my additional insights on this topic in today's Blog Post.
