Biases are unconscious internal influences that determine how we see and experience the world.
THEY ARE essentially filling the invisible air we walk through – influencing and sometimes controlling us without our conscious awareness...
THEY were created within you for a very distinct purpose - helping your brain navigate the nuanced and complex dangers and challenges that face you every day without requiring much cognitive energy. BECAUSE as you know, your brain is lazy.
AND AS A RESULT, biases can impact every decision you make.
In the comment section share a variation of the definition that you think may offer a fun twist.
Today we explore Confirmation Bias - we recognize the link to Frequency Bias and in the related Blog we look at False Consensus Effect.

Thank you to all the regular listeners. A special thanks to Kimberly for all your enthusiastic support and advice EVEN THOUGH YOU RECENTLY ASSURED ME YOU DON'T LISTEN TO PODCASTS; to Olivia, Sara, James, Brian and Glen for your direct and thoughtful feedback; to Augusta for the coaching (you really were kick-ass and I hear you in my head every week).
Thanks again to Greg and Rob for the Kickass Koach theme.
