Social rejection is experienced by our brains the same way as physical pain, so remember, when you exclude someone they will feel as though you slapped them. And when they feel this way they are unable to think clearly, problem solve or even learn.
As a leader when you welcome and value everyone’s contribution you have a better chance of getting the best outcomes.
